The Solutions Architect is responsible for the execution of complex projects by studying and understanding clients’ requirements, identifying gaps (if any) between clients’ requirements and current functionalities, and defining solutions to bridge the gap. The Solutions Architect becomes involved with a project at the time of inception (pre-sales) and is involved in the functional analysis of developing the initial requirements. They then remain involved throughout the balance of the project. They act as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. The Solutions Architect is the link between the needs of the clients and the Services and Product teams and works toward a solution that can be configured from a standard set of offerings. The role will also include a small percentage of tasks typically associated with an Implementation Specialist, including software application training, coordination, and support to clients for timely on-boarding.



Excellence and achievement within the role will be defined by designing integration solutions to enable the successful onboarding of our enterprise clients on our SaaS platform within agreed deadlines and in the most efficient way possible while appropriately setting client expectations and continuously improving processes ensuring consistent client satisfaction.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Liaise with clients and business representatives to understand the needs of business
  • Render consulting and technical support services on project implementation to involved teams
  • Explain technical issues and IT solution strategies to stakeholders and other IT professionals
  • Keep accurate record of materials used, expected deliverables, and milestones achieved
  • Guide activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Ensure that designed solutions are in sync with business needs and software
  • Act as a primary client point of contact during the solution building phase
  • Assist customers with configuration and troubleshooting during their implementation
  • As needed, support the sales team in a technical/implementation capacity by helping to communicate the Implementation methodology during pre-sales activities
  • Provide feedback to Product Management for product features and enhancements
  • Provide expertise for cross-training others within the company
  • Provide technical/platform training to customers when needed
  • Find potential new 3rd party partners/solutions that bridge internal technical gaps and handle partnerships


  • 3+ years experience working with Entreprise clients as a Solution Architect or Solution Engineer (ideally in a SaaS environment)
  • Proven records of designing integration data flows for customers
  • Strong probing, technical, communication and persuasion skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills including team collaboration, leadership, presentation, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience working with or strong understanding of APIs, FTP protocols, data feed formats (e.g. XML) and very good understanding of eCommerce and ecosystem  (e.g. ERP systems, order management systems, Web platforms...)
  • Ability to code in one of the following languages would advantageous: Python, PHP, Perl
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities
  • Excel in fast-paced environment undergoing significant transformation
  • Self-starter ability to drive projects forward with limited oversight
  • Problem-solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources
  • The ability to comprehend highly configurable software and determine how it should be customized for varying businesses
  • The ability to adapt and effectively handle and adjust to changes in priorities and assignments
