ChannelAdvisor is looking for a passionate, organized, self-starter to join the HR team as a Senior HR Business Partner. You will partner within HR and with leadership of assigned groups to develop and execute HR and talent management solutions, and assess the human resources needs in areas including performance management, employee relations, talent assessments, compensation, career development, leadership development, organizational design and effectiveness and employee engagement.

To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities, and come with data-driven recommendations for pragmatic HR and talent solutions. You must collaborate across groups, influence at all levels, and be willing to roll up your sleeves to create and execute innovative and scalable programs. Excellent communication, facilitation and project management skills are essential.  You must effectively balance competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The position reports to the Director, Human Resources and Talent Management.


  • Partner within HR and with leadership to implement and drive key talent practices for assigned groups including talent assessments, compensation planning, career development and mobility, performance management, leadership development and organizational design.
  • Provide counsel to leadership and employees to resolve employee related questions or issues, demonstrating understanding of employment law, HR systems and compliance with country labor requirements.
  • Engage with leaders and employees to maintain the pulse of the organization and develop data-driven recommendations to enhance employee performance, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide analysis and insight into engagement surveys, and partner with leadership of assigned groups to identify and drive measurable and meaningful actions to improve performance, engagement, organizational effectiveness and employee experience. 
  • Provide counsel and coaching to grow leadership capability; develop and implement programs for leadership development, including creating content and facilitating instructor-led courses offered through our Leadership Academy.
  • Program manage global talent management programs that may include a portfolio of the following: new talent and leader onboarding and assimilation, talent assessments and succession management, performance management, leadership development curriculum and content development, career development and mobility, engagement survey and action planning; program management includes project planning, program development, vendor management (if applicable), communications, and driving program implementation.
  • Lead teams and execute special projects or other related responsibilities based on the needs of the organization and function.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years working across multiple functions within Human Resources.
  • Prior experience as an HR business partner in a global organization. Experience in a technology company is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience developing leadership and talent management programs with measurable goals and outcomes and driving successful implementation of the programs.
  • Strong business and HR acumen.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport, and influence at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Google applications preferred.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
