We are seeking an eCommerce Strategy Advisor to join our EMEA Enterprise team.

Digital Strategy Managers are responsible for developing and driving cross-functional strategy across multiple products, regions and internal teams for our Enterprise clients, with a core focus on customer retention and growth. 


The successful candidate will have a consultative and analytical approach in gaining a strong understanding of our clients’ strategic goals to ensure product and service alignment and that their ecommerce goals are being met and exceeded. The Digital Strategy Manager will also monitor the client’s press releases, earnings reports, name in the news and communicate relevant topics to the Account Management team to drive client results.. 

This role will also build relationships to assist in accomplishing Customer goal achievement & growth


  • Consult with Enterprise level clients looking to transform their digital presence. 
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with senior leaders and executives within their customer set through ongoing and proactive communication.
  • Understand clients key ecommerce & strategic goals and facilitate conversations connecting those goals to ChannelAdvisor’s products and services. 
  • Identify key contacts, decision makers, and executives for Enterprise clients.
  • Develop and communicate best practices for digital strategy to Enterprise clients
  • Assists in establishing, building and maintaining a pipeline of short term and long term revenue opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of all ChannelAdvisor products and ensure that accounts are utilizing all the appropriate features in the ChannelAdvisor Complete software.
  • Create and develop proposals for delivery to clients showcasing how they can optimize the  ChannelAdvisor platform to meet their strategic goals, and speak to it in a way that it relates directly to the impact on the client’s business.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client’s vertical category, bringing relevant and strategic guidance that develops and broadens the trust, respect and relationship between the Client and the Account Manager.
  • Lead consulting projects, identify and assemble appropriate cross-functional team members.
  • Effectively work alongside other departments - including sales, finance, product, and support - to ensure client success and that all work is carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Deliver client feedback to appropriate departments.
  • Share knowledge, tools, and techniques within the team and be a resource to other team members.

  • BS or BA degree required
  • Passion for helping customers realize value through implementation and consulting services
  • Ability to learn technical concepts, translate them to business solutions, and deliver results
  • 5+ years experience with Enterprise Brands and providing consulting and strategic direction to executive contacts.
  • Ability to translate customer goals into structured work that results in customer value
  • Drive complex process change and set overall strategic direction for client engagement.
  • 5+ years of technology implementation and consultation, management consulting, product management, or customer/account management experience
  • Digitally-savvy and informed on trends and technologies in the digital space
  • Proficiency using Excel, flat file, and MS Office applications
  • Proficiency in conducting demos of web-based applications (SaaS)
  • Excellent Presentation Skills
  • Strong cross-functional team management skills; able to manage multiple engagements and priorities at once
  • Data-driven decision-maker, with strong analytical skills
  • A strong customer service orientation and the ability to form long-term customer relationships   
  • Previous experience in at least one segment of online shopping/marketing channels, such as Marketplaces, Search or Comparison Shopping is a plus (Preferred)
  • Ideal candidate has expertise in one or more core ChannelAdvisor service channels (marketplaces, digital advertising, retail media services, shoppable media).
