The Role

The Product Management team is seeking a Product Manager to drive successful product capabilities and innovations for its integrations with strategic marketplaces. In this role you will own and drive the roadmap and delivery of innovative features that help our clients succeed on some of the world’s biggest marketplaces including Amazon. As a Product Manager you will identify and prioritize product opportunities to help eCommerce sellers succeed and collaborate with all areas of the business to deliver on those opportunities. You will work closely with strategic marketplace partners to understand their roadmaps, beta opportunities, and client needs. Success in this position requires the ability to close the gaps between customer requirements and product solutions and to work effectively with business leaders and development teams.


Our SaaS solutions help power e-commerce initiatives for premier global consumer brand manufacturers and retailers. This position is an excellent opportunity for a strategic and operational product manager to drive the success of ChannelAdvisor’s leading solution for strategic marketplaces.


  • Drive the roadmap for this product area to optimize customer success, retention, and expansion.
  • Maintain positional awareness of the product area to justify proposals and priorities. Synthesizes input from a wide range of sources. Use quantitative scoring to assist in prioritization.
  • Establish and communicate roadmap goals, prioritization, and criteria to ensure clarity of expected outcomes.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure user-centric design for product goals and requirements.
  • Manage Product Owners to prioritize the development backlog, research requirements, ensure alignment of epics and stories to requirements and acceptance criteria, and drive release of roadmap initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering management and technical leaders throughout the development cycle from ideation to delivery.
  • Define, measure, and achieve product/feature adoption targets and other success metrics related to deliverables. 
  • Maintain and own the product relationship with marketplace partners to drive feedback, understand roadmaps, and plan complementary features for shared customers.
  • Ensure organizational readiness and enablement for new capabilities and products, in collaboration with the Product Operations Manager and cross-functional Release Team.
  • Support the business as a SME for the product area, leading strategic discussions, providing relevant tactical support for product area details, and meeting with internal stakeholders.


  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • You have 7 years experience in eCommerce and SAAS in one or more of the following roles: Product Manager, Account Manager, Implementation Services, or other similar role requiring strong sensibilities for customer needs and SAAS solutions.
  • You utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform priorities, planning, and proposals.
  • You are an expert with Amazon Marketplace, Amazon Seller Central, and key programs for third party sellers such as Amazon FBA. Expertise with eBay and other marketplaces is a plus.
  • You have strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • You have a demonstrable history of driving and achieving product goals.
  • You communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, and are able to bridge the gap between strategic goals and tactical execution.
  • You are able to prepare and give useful presentations on strategy and status, but also able to point out gaps in acceptance criteria and errors in user documentation.
  • You have aptitude for problem solving, prioritization, positioning, negotiation.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and fluid environment.
