The Role

The Product Management team is seeking a Product Manager to drive differentiation through ChannelAdvisor’s portfolio of client service offerings, the platform enhancements to enable those offerings, and the ChannelAdvisor team that delivers client services. In this role, with a focus on client success, revenue generation, and retention, you will own and drive the roadmap and delivery of service offerings that are a differentiator for ChannelAdvisor and help our clients succeed across the eCommerce spectrum including advertising, sales, and fulfillment on the world’s biggest channels including Amazon, Google, and Shopify. 

 

As a Product Manager you will report to the VP of Product Management and work with other Product Management and Services leaders to identify and prioritize new service opportunities, complementary to the platform, to help eCommerce sellers succeed and you will collaborate with all areas of the business to deliver on those opportunities. You will also identify and, in collaboration with other Product Managers, prioritize platform enhancements and other technical solutions that will maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the ChannelAdvisor Services team. Success in this position requires the ability to rationalize, in a holistic manner, a growing portfolio of service offerings and their complementary role to each other and to the platform.

 

Our SaaS solutions and expert managed services help power e-commerce initiatives for premier global consumer brand manufacturers and retailers. This position is an excellent opportunity for a strategic and operational product manager to drive the success of ChannelAdvisor’s leading services portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the global roadmap for service offerings and service team capabilities to optimize customer success, net bookings, and services efficiency.
  • Synthesize input from a wide range of global sources with strong awareness of the complexities and differences in each environment.. 
  • Maintain positional awareness to justify proposals and priorities. 
  • Use quantitative scoring to assist in prioritization.
  • Establish and communicate roadmap goals, prioritization, and criteria to ensure clarity of expected outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers and other stakeholders to ensure compatibility between service offerings and platform capabilities and to prioritize allocation of resources
  • Drive the build-measure-learn loop, for services and platform roadmaps, with clear targets and goals necessary to achieve success in net bookings and services efficiency.
  • Own and ensure organizational readiness and enablement for new service offerings and new platform capabilities for the services team in collaboration with the Product Operations Manager and cross-functional Release Team.
  • Deeply understand, across all locales, the services function and the intersection of services and the SaaS platform to drive client success.
  • Support the business as a SME for the services portfolio and service capabilities, leading strategic discussions, providing relevant tactical support for product area details, and meeting with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • You have 5 years experience in SaaS with client services offerings in one or more of the following roles: Product Manager, Client Services, Account Manager, or other similar role requiring strong sensibilities for customer needs at the intersection of SaaS technology and client services.
  • You utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform priorities, planning, and proposals.
  • You have strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • You have a demonstrable history of driving and achieving large goals for product and/or service offerings.
  • You communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, and are able to bridge the gap between strategic goals and tactical execution.
  • You are able to prepare and give useful presentations on strategy and status, but also able to point out gaps in acceptance criteria and errors in user documentation.
  • You have an aptitude for problem solving, prioritization, positioning, negotiation.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and fluid environment.
