Due to continuous growth through consistent high levels of customer satisfaction and multiple new business wins, ChannelAdvisor are looking to expand their Onboarding team by hiring a Project Manager to manage the delivery phases of the development and deployment including capturing client requirements, technical design, implementation steps, testing and post deployment operation.

Working closely with the Implementation Consultants you will act as a first point of contact and oversee the successful onboarding of our Enterprise clients within agreed timelines from planning and design through to completion of the project. During the onboarding phase you will work in the best interest of the client while managing their expectations appropriately.

As a Technical Project Manager you will act as a cross functional leader and bring to bear the required resources to appropriately staff, manage, and lead Projects through to completion. Depending on the needs of the Project, you  may act in a myriad of roles but at a minimum, you will be responsible for controlling the scope and timescales of the project and engaging the required Launch resources. Additionally, you will have significant planning, managing and controlling responsibilities in tracking and reporting project performance against plan. In addition, the STPM may support internal initiatives at the discretion of management

 

Responsibilities

Excellence and achievement within the role will be defined by overseeing successful onboarding of our enterprise clients on our SaaS platform within agreed deadlines, appropriately setting client expectations, improving processes and ensuring consistent client satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading handover and kick off meetings making sure the scope and expectations of our clients are understood and documented
  • Building project plans and maintaining throughout the project lifecycle
  • Raising, managing and mitigating Risk and Issues
  • Scheduling and leading internal and external project meetings on regular and ad hoc basis as required
  • Manage prioritization of projects and tasks across client portfolio
  • Manage an enterprise client portfolio and multiple clients at different project stages
  • Keeping all relevant admin tasks up to date to maintain accurate visibility for internal stakeholders and clients
  • Reporting project status and updates to the OnBoarding management team
  • Providing feedback to Product Management for product features and enhancements
  • Assist transitioning clients to the ChannelAdvisor Support team following the implementation phase.

Candidates should possess:

  • 4+ years Project Management experience working with Enterprise level clients
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple projects in a fast paced environment (IT or SaaS) within agreed timelines
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize the work in the most effective way
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Experience using Project Management methodologies like Prince2 and Agile
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as APIs and data feed formats (e.g. XML and flat files) desirable
  • Being a problem solver and having a positive attitude in all circumstances. No problem or challenge is ever big enough for you!
  • The ability to build customer relationships, as well as take responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • An additional European language would be advantageous (German or French speaking)
