The Events Marketing Manager, EMEA drives meaningful engagement with prospects, existing customers and partners through our world-class conferences, events and webinars. This role will drive the strategy and execution of our hosted and sponsored events and webinars and actively support the team with driving awareness and generating demand for ChannelAdvisor solutions and services in the EMEA region.


The Events Marketing Manager is proactive and detail-oriented, possesses exceptional organisational and follow-through skills and excels working collaboratively across the marketing, sales and services organisations. The role will report to the Marketing Director, EMEA and will be located in our London, UK office. Occasional travel may be required to attend events in other parts of the UK and EMEA. 

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the planning, organisation, execution and follow up of hosted and sponsored events including annual conferences, trade shows, seminars, internal events and webinars in the EMEA region
  • Organise prospect, customer, partner and ABM events and webinars
  • Manage sponsorship arrangements
  • Produce detailed briefs for event vendors
  • Organise all aspects of events and webinars including contracts, venue hire, catering, AV, delegate packs, team briefing, speakers, webinar platform management, etc.
  • Develop engaging and responsive marketing material and collateral for use at events
  • Promote events and webinars and drive attendance through email, website, social media and direct mail
  • Use Marketing automation (Marketo) to deliver promotional campaigns and track responses for each event and webinar
  • Manage the content of event and webinar websites, landing pages
  • Manage relationships with key event partners - associations, exhibition organisers, suppliers, couriers, etc.
  • Manage set up, registration and onsite duties across all events and webinars
  • Work with sales and account management to drive registrations pre-event and track opportunities / pipeline post-event
  • Maintain, restock and manage marketing collateral, giveaways and booth equipment
  • Own campaign metrics / targets, track, analyse and report on event ROI and evaluate
  • Accurately manage events budget

Candidates should possess:

  • Demonstrable marketing and event/webinar management experience in a B2B technology company
  • Large-scale events (over 400 attendees) and large-scale exhibition stands experience
  • Strong understanding of prospect, customer, partner and account based marketing events and webinars
  • Superior organisation and project management skills
  • Ability to work with and influence internal and external stakeholders and resources to get things done
  • Accurate budget management skills
  • Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure meeting project milestones and efficient running of an event
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy when completing tasks
  • Excellent communications, numeracy and written skills as well as negotiation skills
  • Hands-on experience using Marketing automation tools (Marketo) and Sales CRM systems (Salesforce) to execute, track and manage campaigns
