Marketing Automation Manager

The Marketing Automation Manager will guide ChannelAdvisor during the creation and optimization of lead nurturing, lead scoring and automated marketing programs to develop qualified sales leads and create brand awareness. In this role, the successful candidate will manage the marketing automation development phases including: requirements gathering, design/development, testing, configuration, process optimization, and advanced administration.


  • Own the configuration, governance and maintenance of the B2B automation flow using Marketo
  • Develop and implement nurture campaigns using Marketo and measuring campaign performance for effectiveness and lead-generation activities. This includes demonstrating a clear understanding of the entire customer journey from awareness and comparison stages to decision stage.
  • Support email calendar, audience segmentation, build landing pages, forms and email campaigns
  • Develop responsive HTML-based emails in the Marketo platform, using design files or at times creating your own custom templates.
  • Continually optimize lead scoring, tracking and nurture incoming leads
  • Create, monitor and analyze marketing campaign and program performance reports


  • 2-5 years relevant experience
  • Marketo Certification or equivalent experience
  • Advanced proficiency in, Marketo, Excel and Marketing Automation methodology.
  • Experience with B2B marketing technology tools including Bizible, Mintigo, TechValidate, Webex a plus
  • Coding experience using  HTML and CSS. Design experience a plus.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy despite fast turnarounds
  • Proactive and visionary and continually asks, “How can I make that better”
