Overview

A Client Strategy Associate performs the day-to-day tasks for the Managed Services for Marketplaces client portfolio. Associates will support Marketplace analysis, optimization, and tactical execution efforts on channels such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, and eBay. Associates will be a critical member of the client account team, helping drive success for many of the top internet brands and retailers, all while being given the opportunity to learn basic knowledge of eCommerce and ChannelAdvisor in a supportive setting. 

 

Responsibilities

The Role:

The Client Strategy Associate is an entry level position that supports our Client Strategy Managers and their portfolio of business. You will work directly in the ChannelAdvisor platform, understanding how we work internally, gaining valuable technical skills, and developing your client facing experience.  If you are ambitious and are looking for a great opportunity to learn eCommerce from the best in the business...this job is for you!

A successful Associate will have a strong desire to over deliver, work efficiently and progress in the company. While technical and analytical knowledge is appreciated, no traits are more valued in an Associate than the ability to learn quickly and creatively solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Supports Client Strategy Managers with day to day operational and administrative tasks, including development of internal and external meeting agendas and recaps, providing account project status updates, and completing project and ad-hoc tasks.
  • Supports Client Strategy Managers in proactive review of performance reporting, development of strategic action plans and completion of assigned action items. 
  • Maintains project plan for assigned accounts, sets up internal and client meetings as needed, reviews/proofs all client facing deliverables to ensure accuracy, free of grammatical, spelling mistakes.
  • Participates in role and team training; proactively shares feedback/ideas for the betterment of the CSA role. 
  • Communicates with Client Strategy Manager and leader to manage bandwidth and workload, ensuring tasks and assignment deadlines are always 100% met.
  • Actively learns about marketplace strategies and participates in account strategy sessions in order to help meet team and company revenue goals.

Experience/Skills needed to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, marketing, or technology related study
  • Great organizational skills and ability to manage multiple processes/projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and solutions-oriented abilities
