You will be an expert in digital marketing (SEM) and client delivery to manage the campaigns to our customers across the EMEA. You will need experience of delivering pay-per-click digital marketing campaigns for multiple clients within ChannelAdvisor's DM Services team. The ideal candidate will understand retail, e-commerce and search engine marketing SEM.


The Role:

The Manager, Client Services will lead and manage a specialist digital marketing team split between London and Berlin who in turn are responsible for delivering pay-per-click digital marketing campaigns for multiple clients. Excellence and achievement within the role will be defined by ensuring your team(s) met and exceed the expectations of our clients through the successful delivery of digital marketing and pay-per-click marketing campaigns.



  • Managing the existing team of Digital Marketing Campaign managers in Berlin and London
  • Providing subject matter expertise in Digital Marketing (SEM, PPC, Google AdWords, Amazon Advertising) and thought leadership to team members to support client relationships, project management, account strategy, and day-to-day digital marketing efforts for our customers.
  • Monitoring performance of clients digital marketing campaigns and coordinate the team’s workflow to ensure service excellence.
  • Perform in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee account satisfaction and retention.
  • Proactively growing the Digital Marketing practice and provide accurate forecasting back to executive level management
  • Defining and implementing processes and procedures to support and improve on-going client services and support activities
  • Effectively managing all aspects of team performance and growth including: account assignments & portfolio management conducting quarterly/annual reviews ensuring ongoing development and growth of individual team members creating a work environment leading to a high level of team morale and enthusiasm resource goal management & development

Candidates should possess

  • Demonstrable and relative online marketing experience including managing large digital marketing campaigns, including campaign development, management, and performance reporting
  • Practical experience with Google and ideally Amazon paid search management tools
  • A strong client services orientation, with minimum of three years’ experience in a client services role
  • Comprehensive understanding of the search engine marketing industry including search engines and related tools/vendors
  • The ability to analyse and interpret complex data including use of advanced Excel or Access techniques
  • Proven ability to train other members of staff AdWords and/or MSN Pay Per Click certification a plus
