ChannelAdvisor is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team. The position will be based at our Berlin location.

The Marketing Manager, DACH and Emerging Regions drives the delivery of pipeline, sales and business goals by owning, creating and executing a modern, digital-first demand generation strategy for the region. In addition to executing and managing regional demand generation campaigns, the Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring that effective sales enablement tools and market-facing assets are in place throughout the buying cycle for the sales team. The individual will also need to deploy pipeline velocity programs and campaigns to accelerate opportunities to close. The role will need to constantly analyse the ROI of demand generation campaigns executed in-market via inbound and outbound channels, and show agility in adapting the marketing plan accordingly to achieve optimal pipeline results.

The Marketing Manager must have a solid understanding of digital and offline B2B marketing. The individual is proactive and detail-oriented, possesses exceptional organisational and follow-through skills and excels working collaboratively across the marketing, sales and services organisations. The Marketing Manager reports to the Marketing Director, EMEA.


  • Own the strategic direction and execution for DACH and Emerging regions  marketing.
  • Develop and execute regional demand generation plans to achieve pipeline, sales and business goals. To achieve this, integrated plans must cover online and offline lead generation, pipeline acceleration, sales enablement and customer and partner marketing programs.
  • Track the buyer journey from first touch to close, designing and implementing programs to progress leads through the funnel.
  • Create effective regional campaigns across a variety of media channels including but not limited to email, webinars, website, content marketing and paid search/social.
  • Be the “go-to” marketing contact for local SDR and sales teams, write/translate content for campaigns, the website, customer success stories, sales outreach campaigns and garner feedback from sales to continuously improve local content.
  • Arm sales teams with tailored templates, emails and copy to leverage in customer outreach.
  • Ensure timely lead routing and follow up with local teams to track success metrics.
  • Create Marketo campaign emails, segments and nurture campaigns.
  • Own campaign metrics and partner with marketing operations to forecast, track, and report campaign effectiveness and demand gen funnel metrics. Analyse campaign data to understand what’s working/not working and why, and then optimise campaigns based on these insights.
  • Regularly analyse and report all marketing initiatives overseen by the position, including website traffic and engagement, organic search rankings, paid search metrics, etc., to continuously optimise the overall online mix and performance.
  • Collaborate with the services teams to execute customer retention, cross sell and upsell programs.
  • Track and own demand generation progress against quarterly and annual goals.
  • Proactively manage regional budget, being vigilant in tracking; evaluate results against goals (ROI) and generate learnings for improvement.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years international marketing experience in an enterprise B2B SaaS company
  • Fluent in both written and spoken German & English
  • Excellent digital marketing execution skills with a demonstrated ability to generate and accelerate new pipeline and engage and grow B2B audiences online via website, SEO, paid search/social, webinars, email and other digital marketing channels.
  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics and other marketing technologies to execute, track and manage marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytics: understand how to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts, analyse reports, optimise campaigns to improve performance and present results to multiple audiences (sales, marketing, services, executive management, etc)
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in a high growth/high performance organisation undergoing rapid expansion in EMEA
