We are seeking an eCommerce Strategy Advisor to join our EMEA Enterprise team. eCommerce Strategic Advisors are responsible for developing and driving cross-functional strategy across multiple products, regions and internal teams for our Enterprise clients, with a core focus on customer retention and growth. The successful candidate will have a consultative and analytical approach in gaining a strong understanding of our clients’ strategic goals to ensure product and service alignment and that their ecommerce goals are being met and exceeded. The eCommerce Strategic Advisor will also monitor the client’s press releases, earnings reports, name in the news and communicate relevant topics to the Account Management team. 

This role will also build relationships to assist in accomplishment two main goals:

  • Customer goal achievement & growth – work with customers to design and implement account plans to help customers achieve their ecommerce business goals  on ChannelAdvisor


  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with senior leaders and executives within their customer set through ongoing and proactive communication.
  • Understand clients key ecommerce & strategic goals and facilitate conversations connecting those goals to ChannelAdvisor’s products and services. 
  • Work with the Account manager to identify key contacts, decision makers, and executives for each account.
  • Assists the Account Manager in establishing and maintaining a pipeline of short term and long term revenue opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of all ChannelAdvisor products and ensure that accounts are utilizing all the appropriate features in the ChannelAdvisor Complete software.
  • Ability to relate the ChannelAdvisor platform to the client’s strategic goals and speak to it in a way that it relates directly to the impact on the client’s business.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client’s vertical category, bringing relevant and strategic guidance that develops and broadens the trust, respect and relationship between the Client and the Account Manager.
  • Lead consulting projects, identify and assemble appropriate cross-functional team members.
  • Effectively work alongside other departments - including sales, finance, product, and support - to ensure client success and that all work is carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Deliver client feedback to appropriate departments.
  • Share knowledge, tools, and techniques within the team and be a resource to other team members

  • Experience working with large and small brands or retailers, and providing advice and direction to management-level contacts.
  • Proficiency with reviewing data sets and quantitative analysis
  • Proficiency using Excel, flat file, and MS Office applications
  • Proficiency in conducting demos of web-based applications (SaaS)
  • Excellent Presentation Skills
  • A strong customer service orientation and the ability to form long-term customer relationships
  • The ideal candidate has expertise in one or more core ChannelAdvisor service channel’s ie : marketplaces, advertising, shoppable media.
